An established and respected consultancy is now looking to find the next senior member of their design team. We are looking for a Structural Engineer who has a diverse background of experience and a willingness to work closely with clients and other stakeholders. This person should be personable and approachable as they will be representing the company at a senior level. This company covers several sectors including renewable energy, commercial and residential. We are looking for someone personable; a good communicator and innovative designer. Someone who enjoys the challenges that come hand in hand with intricate projects. Not only will this person be leading and delivering projects, but they will also be a key representative for the business and as such will have a direct path to progress into he senior management team. Whilst projects sound like they are from quite ordinary sectors, they involve out the box thinking working with contemporary sustainable materials. Key responsibilities: Managing complex projects up to £60M in value Delivering projects Mentoring/training of staff Working closely with clients, architects and main contractors. Building positive relationships to complement an established team Strategic thinking in managing change Motivated to develop self and others with the business Driving the business in a direction consistent with existing reputation and portfolio This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a leading local practice with over 30 years of history at a senior level. Offices are located not far from central Bristol with plenty of access to major transport links. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to make a very real impression on the business.
