Then look no further as my well-established client is looking out for an ambitious and ready-to-learn Graduate Civil Engineer, with a degree in Civil Engineering and/or relevant UK industry experience of minimum 1+ years'. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Job Responsibilities: Supporting senior engineers in creating detailed designs for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, SuDs and water systems. Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to draft and modify engineering drawings and plans. Participating in field surveys and investigations to gather data for project planning and design. Maintaining accurate records of project progress, inspections, and any changes to the design or construction plan. Making sure that all projects comply with environmental regulations and local building codes. Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and professionals to ensure cohesive project development. Learning from more experienced engineers and, as experience grows, mentoring junior engineers or interns. Successful candidate specifications: Relevant degree in Civil Engineering (i.e. BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng/etc.). Preference will be given to candidates who are degree qualified with a MEng in Civil Engineering suitable for CEng status, but consideration will be given to candidates with an engineering related degree if they have relevant post-graduate experience.
