Project Engineer - Structural Steel and Glass design and delivery Permanent Frimley £36,000 - £48,000 + Package This collaborative, global organisation are looking to hire a Project engineer to join their preconstruction design team based in Surrey. You will be working on projects across the globe, many of a prestigious nature involving structural glass, steel and ETFE. You will be responsible for the production of technical solutions within budget for the projects, liaising with the clients, architects and internal production teams in order to deliver the projects to conclusion. You will be attending design meetings as well as producing 2d and 3d models and all associated design/calculations with the primary structure and interfacing works. Alongside the design work there will be extensive site visits and fabrication interaction, a great role for a technically minded and engaging engineer looking for a step up in their roles and responsibilities. You will be a degree qualified engineer working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE) and have proven experience of working with Structural Steelwork from design through to fabrication and installation. You will be experienced working to UK codes. Experience of glass design would be of interest but is not essential.
