Pertemps Bristol is recruiting for electrical production technicians to work within a thriving plasma technology business in Severn Beach, near Bristol. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong teamwork culture where you will be building precision equipment that is used at the forefront of scientific research and development. £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience PLUS shift allowances [10% of basic for morning and 25% for afternoon shifts] - works out to £35,400 - £37,760 per annum before overtime! Monday - Friday Each working week consists of 4 shifts of 8 hours and one of 5 hours. Currently, the shifts are Early (starting at 06:00hrs) and Afternoon (starting at 14:00hrs). Great overtime rates 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Half-days on Fridays Free parking on site or accessible by bus number 12 Structured career development opportunities Benefits Private healthcare Share incentive plan A flexible benefits package that you can tailor to your own requirements About the job Work on the assembly build of high-tech, cutting edge products Build systems, sub-assemblies and piece parts for complex systems Ensure that the requirements of the BOM and the customer specification are achieved Identify and resolve build problems Report technical issues and record using the FRACAS process Set an example of the highest level of build cleanliness, house keeping and Health and Safety issues within the build areas, and support and promote 5S initiatives Report technical issues and record using the FRACAS process The right candidate Time served Electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds part 3, or HND, HNC, or BTech level 3 Detailed wiring skills to precision level, including lead free soldering Confident panel wiring to schematics Able to read electrical drawings Able to fault find and implement corrective action Good communication skills.
