HGV Drivers Required Position: Class 1 Driver Location: South Staffordshire Salary: Up to £21ph Competitive, based on experience Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temporary currently recruiting for ongoing HGV / LGV / C+E / Class 1 You will be responsible for: Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations. Transport goods to various locations as assigned, ensuring timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness. Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines. To be considered for this HGV / LGV1 / C+E/ Class 1 Driver role you will need: CE Entitlement Digi Card & CPC No more than 6 points Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading duties if required. Flexible with working hours, including weekends and nights if necessary. Professional appearance and demeanour.
