We are currently working with a market leading manufacturing business based in Manchester in the appointment of a credit controller on a 12-month fixed term contract this is a 5 days on site role.This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in credit control position within a global business.You would be responsible for the control of the sales ledger and the duty of managing and processing all incoming cash daily, confirm sales invoices ensuring posted to the sales ledger on a timely basis and to chase customers for overdue invoices.Key TasksConfirm sales invoices from sales order despatches daily and prepare and post manual invoices as required.Post and allocate bacs, cheque and cash receipts and reconcile customer accountsComplete bank reconciliation of HSBC Trust accounts (GBP, USD & EUR) dailyChase customer payment of overdue invoices for all companies within the groupRespond to a range of emails including queries concerning sales invoices/ordersSend copy invoices/credits as requiredFind proof of delivery as required for customer accountsSet up new customer accounts and amend existing accounts as necessaryApply for credit insurance and monitor regularlyComplete Euler and D&B reviews regularly for new and existing accountsUpload sales invoices to customer's portals where necessaryLiaise with other departments to resolve queries and provide summary of customer complaints on a weeklybasisProvide credit notes once query resolution/non-conformance process has been resolvedComplete proforma invoices for customers without a credit account as requiredRun and send out monthly customer statementsPrepare intercompany recharge manual invoices monthly and post to sales ledgerProvide commentary to FC and FD on overdue accountsProvide appropriate cover for the finance team as necessary and complete key tasks in their absenceYou: Experience working as a credit controllerExcellent verbal, written communication skillsBenefits Saraly up to £30,000On site parkingFlexible working hoursRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
