Robert Half Finance & Accounting have been retained by Jury O'Shea to find a Credit Controller on a full-time, permanent basis. Based out of the Clifton office on Blackboy Hill, the client is offering a competitive salary of: Up to £35,000 plus hybrid working and benefits Established 15 years ago in London, Jury O'Shea is a Boutique Legal Firm specialising in Real Estate, Dispute Resolution and Employment Law for UK and International Businesses, as well as Private Individuals. The Firm has expanded its presence over the past few years and now has offices in Brighton, and of course Clifton.Following exponential growth, there is now a requirement for a Credit Controller to join the team. Reporting in to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for maintaining the companys' Debt Recovery process, chasing outstanding payments, as well as improving and implementing processes. This is a standalone role where you will have the opportunity to 'make your mark' and utilise your expertise in Credit to reduce aged debt. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Keeping record of all income streams, monitoring outstanding payments and chasing outstanding debts in a timely manner Liaising with fee earners to know appropriate timing of contacting customersContacting customers initially by phone and email to notify them of outstanding debtsEscalating cases to Third Party business when initial steps of recovery are unsuccessfulUpdating financial records in line with payments made/outstandingProduction of monthly debt reportBuild strong relationships with fee earners and external stakeholders to maximise efficiency of recovery processAdjustment of VAT and monthly reconciliationMaintenance of the fixed asset registerOccasional travel as required to the London office (travel expenses paid)Other ad hoc duties as required by the Finance DirectorPerson Specification: Proven experience working in a similar role, with Legal Firm experience preferred (but not essential)AAT qualified or equivalent qualified by experienceWorking knowledge of Xero and strong MS Excel SkillsExperience using LEAP desirable but not essentialPositive can-do attitude with a self-starter approachBenefits: Competitive salary of up to £35,000Hybrid working of 2-3 days in the office per week25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeTravel expenses paid for any travelSociable cultureAmazing opportunity to implement processes and work in a dynamic role with scope for further development in futureBased out of the Clifton office on Blackboy Hill, the client is offering a competitive salary of: Up to £35,000 plus hybrid working and benefits Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
