Financial Accountant

Robert Half are excited to be working with an Exciting growing business to recruit a Financial Accountant, based full-time in office, in Cardiff Gate. Over the last 5 years my client has been listed in the top 100 business to work for They are offering a very competitive: base salary up to £45,000 + Great benefits (some listed below)This role will take assist in ensuring that all transactional data is processed accurately and on time, delivering exceptional customer service to the Operational Finance Team, as well as managing the production of financial statements at the month end.Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant and working closely with the Group Financial Controller you will also have great exposure and the opportunity to work with other parts of the business.This role has line management responsibilities of one Finance Officer.As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:Ensure that financial reporting, is produced accurately and within agreed timescales. This includes assisting in the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts by working day ten.Produce the quarterly VAT returns.Ensure robust financial controls (including strong month end processes) are in place to ensure that best practice is achieved, and risks mitigated.Lead all statutory reporting and compliance, including year-end audit processDesired Profile:Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or similar).Solid Excel skillsSome staff management experience.Enjoy a fast paced environmentHolds a can do attitude who enjoys a challenge Some of the benefits on offer26 days annual leave + Bank Holidays Buy & Sell an additional 5 days each yearLength of service annual leave increments starting at 2 yearsHealthcare Scheme Tech SchemeFree ParkingRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
