The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a part time role on behalf of an Energy & Development in Leighton Buzzard.The Role To provide support to the accounts department and be an integral member of a busy team. You will be required to maintain up-to-date purchase and sales ledgers, reconcile client accounts and to be pro-active, trustworthy and honest. Key Responsibilities:The day to day duties of the Accounts Assistant will consist of:Creation of sales invoicesEntry of sales and purchase invoices on to sage line 50Co-ordination of invoice approvalsMaintenance of paper invoice & scanned invoice files including HMRC documentationBank reconciliationsBank payments in line with mandatesManagement of expensesChecking of VAT classificationsProactive management of debtors and creditorsYour ProfilePeople personForward thinkingProfessional and articulate, reliable and motivatedComfortable working with people at all levels within the organisationConfident telephone mannerMethodical, organised and accurate with ability to adhere to strict deadlinesIT Literate with Microsoft office (including; Outlook, Excel, Word) Salary and Benefits The Salary for the role of an Accounts Assistant will be paying up to £30k based on experience and skill sets. This is a part-time role in the office, Hours of work are 8 hours per day for 3 days, 6 hours per day for 4 days and this will be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
