YARD OPERATIVE/VAN DRIVER - ONGOING (T2P) - IMMEDIATE START - DAYS Looking for ongoing work with career potential? Are you organised and hands on? Looking long term for a career within transport or driving? Our client based in Milton Keynes currently has a vacancy for Yard Shunters. Hours: 0900 - 2100 Shift: 4 on, 4 off Rate: £13.60 ph (days) Overtime: £20.40 ph As a Yard Shunter, your main duties will be to ensure smooth running of the yard, taking a very hands-on approach and able to adapt to a multitude of requirements as and when required. You will use your own initiative and identify tasks and duties to be completed throughout your workday. Duties include: Moving vehicles of all categories around the yard. Offloading empty trays from vehicles. Washing vehicles Fuelling vehicles. Ensuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all times. Vehicle checks. Successful Applicants Successful applicants will have previous driving experience. You will hold a UK driving license with less than 3 points. You will be physically fit, due to the nature of the role a lot of walking is involved.
