Our team of over 800 expert colleagues provide washroom, floorcare, aircare and a range of specialist services to over 100,000 customers. As a Field Account Manager with Initial Washrooms, you will manage a portfolio of circa 200 existing customers with whom you will build relationships, sell additional services and take care of their every need. There will also be new sales opportunities via inbound customer enquiries and internal leads, helping you build your portfolio and hit monthly sales targets.Our dedicated, award winning, Government Accredited, Sales Academy will provide you with excellent training in your first five weeks with us, after which you will be ready to hit the ground running. We provide run-up targets and a guaranteed commission for your first three months in the role. During your first year, you will complete a Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship. We invest a great deal in this area to make sure you are ready for promotion opportunities when they come. We are committed to promotion from within our ranks and are keen for colleagues to progress into leadership roles if this is something they want to do.Our Field Account Managers can grade annually based on performance and knowledge. Each grading step also brings salary increases. The jobA mix of field-based customer appointments and home/office-based customer account management duties. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and Branch Managers to ensure all aspects of the role and KPI's are met.As a Field Account Manager you will be responsible for the following:Identifying, sourcing and selling long and short term contracts with businesses.Generating and developing leads (through networking with other Rentokil Initial divisions etc.)Building relationships both internally and externallyWorking towards and achieving set KPIs and targetsUsing your own initiative and planning your field days effectivelyMaintaining an existing client/customer portfolio and presenting new productsManaging existing customer queriesClient relationship Management (Including debt and dispute resolution)Working with key accounts to maximise salesAbility to negotiate and close contractsRequirements:What you need to succeed: An ambitious, outgoing, dedicated personality, able to use their initiative whilst in the field.Field-based B2B Sales or Account Management experience would be great, but you can be successful without if you have the right drive.Either a background in business development or customer service.Full valid UK driving licence is required with no more than 6 points.Benefits:Additional Company Benefits Company discount and cashback siteWork laptop/tablet and phoneOngoing training and supportStructured progression route (performance-based)Rentokil Initial are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating a diverse working environment.
