Our Opportunity Reporting to the regional head of Networks, the Senior Network engineer will play a key role within our experienced EMEA network team. Supporting our current and future business connectivity requirements, working with our network service providers and multiple cross functional internal teams including Network Security ,Cloud teams and Advanced OPs to develop and manage scalable, secure and resilient connectivity infrastructure. We are looking for some one with a passion for automation, enjoys problem solving with diverse teams and with a customer first mindset. Your role As a Senior Network Engineer your main responsibilities will involve Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and design specifications for both traditional network and multi-cloud connectivity solution for both business and network projects. Reviewing internal and external supplier proposals and quotations and performing the technical validation of supplier solutions to ensure that they are in line with company technology standards Actively seek opportunities for functional and process improvement via automation and adoption of cloud native connectivity solutions. Investigate and support troubleshooting efforts on internal and Cloud network technical issues. Support governance and improvements in capacity, demand, release and lifecycle, change and incident management activity from Network perspective Provide guidance and recommendations on cloud and automation solution to the Network team. Document network environments, develop and deploy network policy documents Your Skills and Experience As a Senior Network Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in network engineering role Excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing and core technologies such as TCP/IP, OSPFBGP, MPLS, ACLs, IPSEC, DNS, etc. Knowledge in WAN/LAN Network Architecture and Operations including (Firewalls, Routers, Switches). Working knowledge mutli-cloud network(AWS and Azure ideally ) and connectivity deployments, including TransitGW and VirtualWan , native firewall and Security groups technologies. Scripting and API utilisation experience ( preferably python, XSOAR , ServiceNow) You use your skills to develop and implement enterprise-grade network infrastructure that is efficient, scalable, resilient and secure in its design. Experience of apps to cloud migrations and support of a hybrid environment of on-prem and Cloud infrastructure Experience in complex troubleshooting connectivity issues in both cloud and traditional network environments You have experience working within a geographically distributed IT team spread across multiple time zones You can work on your own initiative while also providing guidance and technical leadership in a group setting
