Job Description The VP, Technical SEO willbe responsible for executing the SEO strategy across a portfolio of buyer brands, a mix of content and media types, and a global network of .com and country level domains. Responsibilities:Implement technical SEO strategies to increase traffic to buyer sites (Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, UpCity) through on-page techniques such as title and meta-tagging, indexing, keyword ranking overall site architecture and off-page techniques (link building, backlink profile, etc.) to get exposure while building trust and authority for our content.Partner with Product & Engineering leaders on prioritizing and implementing Technical SEO improvements. Monitor and analyze site performance and review tracking metrics to drive enhancements and provide solutions to increase search engine ranking. Research and evaluate new traffic trends and identify new optimization opportunities. Assess search outcomes related to sites or advertising/marketing campaigns. Conduct analysis for program effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all programs.Develop an SEO testing strategy, including evaluating SEO testing tools and determining how to use them alongside traditional A/B experience testing tools.Lead a globally distributed team primarily based in Barcelona, Spain and Austin, TX, hiring and developing top talent. Manage a positive group dynamic to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment on and First Team behavior.What You Will Need:10+ years of Sales andMarketing experience, with demonstratedexpertise with technical SEO and leading data-driven strategiesExpertisewith SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, BrightEdge, DeepCrawl and Majestic.Knowledge and proven experience with International SEOBA in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience, MBA degree preferred.Experience in strategic planning and execution, with proven ability to work collaboratively and drive solutions with technical teams. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
