Operations Manager - Bedford - Automotive industry Pertemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Automotive client based in Bedford, The Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for managing the overall efficient and effective delivery of the service center's daily operations. Ensuring exceptionally high levels of customer service are maintained, whilst delivering on KPIs, including health & safety and compliance. Hours: 8am-6pm Salary: £45,000 Duties: Helping the company to promote high morale and communicate the company's operating policies, customer issues, and safety measures Ensuring the key performance requirements are met for each contract the company holds Co-ordinating smaller teams, within the operations environment every week Overseeing HR management of the operations team (including disciplinaries, sickness, and performance) Prepare and monitor the annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variance, and initiating corrective actions Develop operations policies by evaluating and enforcing policies for products and inventory receipts Reviewing and approving operational invoices Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Requirements for this role: Experience in the Motor trade is highly desired Experience with statistical analysis and data processing Practical knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow regulation, maintaining balance sheets, and monitoring the profit and loss statements Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Good managerial skills Highly organised, capable of managing workload, ability to meet a deadline If you would be interested, in this role, please apply or call Corinne at Pertemps.
