Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of an Credit Controller to join a settled business and group in Bradford. The company are going from strength to strength in the distribution world, the team are looking to add a stand alone Credit controller to help with the 300-400 clients they currently have.Reporting into the Financial Controller, key duties of the Credit controller will include:dealing with numerous small business accounts/self employed traders as a teamcash collecting - receiving and allocating paymentsaged debt chasingreview of accounts (aged debt) and credit limitscredit worthiness checkingbank reconciliationsprevious experience in a busy credit control departmentreleasing orders once acceptable credit limit attained (on accounts that are overdue or close to limits) - comfortable making these decisionsworking in a small credit control team - shared (not designated) accountsstrong communication skills - spoken and writtenproven experience at building relationships with customersensuring local policies are followed by sites and trade counters in relation to credit controlTo be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:Previous experience of working within a credit controlStrong excel skillsConfident communicatorCareer orientatedIn return, the successful candidate will receive the following:£27,000 - £28,000 base salary25 days holidaysLonger term career opportunitiesRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
