Financial Accountant

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of a Waste company in Milton Ernest.Purpose of roleSupport in the statutory reporting elements of the Ancala Bioenergy GroupProduce financial statements for the Ancala Bioenergy Group companiesTreasury and cashflow forecasting to aid management decisionsResponsibility for capex control and reporting in the businessPreparation and submission of VAT returnsBalance sheet reconciliationsSupport the CFO and PE partners with any ad-hoc analysis requiredThe day to day duties of the Financial Accountant will consist of:Preparation of year end financial statements for the individual entities within the group under FRS102.Preparation of information for tax advisors to allow for the production of outsourced tax computations.Liaise with the external auditors during the year end audit process to resolve audit queries.Process inter-company loans transactions and interest.Responsibility for the inter-company loans reconciliation.Preparation and submission of VAT returnsAssist in the maintaining of the groups cashflow forecast.Maintain the fixed asset register for all entities.Prepare the monthly capex reporting schedule for all ongoing projects.Balance Sheet ReconciliationsAd-hoc tasks as requiredYour ProfileExperience of preparing statutory financial statementsExperience of dealing with HMRC and external auditorsIFRS and FRS102 experienceStrong IT skills including accounting software and MS Office. Strong excel modelling and knowledge. Be confident in using and switching between different software programsOrganised and methodical, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailPart Qualified, studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCACompany They are a company that deals with waste managementSalary and Benefits The Salary for the role of a Financial Accountant will be paying up to £50k based on experience and skill sets.
