Chef Needed - Edinburgh - FM Service Provider - £17 per hour CBW has an Exciting opportunity for a Chef to work for an established company situated in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Chef and will be able to work Immediately on a flexible basis. Hours/Details: Saturday & Sunday 12:00pm to 18:30pm Contract type - On going Pay rate - £17 per hour Immediate start IMPORTANT – Please only apply if you can attend the days and times above and have a Level 2 Food and Hygiene Certificate Requirements: NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent, Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 Key Responsibilities: Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets Full knowledge of all menu items served Management of production to ensure minimal wastage Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods Maintenance of food quality and brand standards Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with the requirements and identify any anomalies and incidents Capturing and recording all volumes consumed and overproduction Assisting in the compilation of all shifts opening and closing checklists Discussing ideas or improvements with line manager Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
