But water security is not just about the droughts and floods brought on by climate change. It is also about ensuring that the infrastructure is there for everyone to have access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation, that that the systems are in place to protect the environment and public health from water borne pollutants, and more generally that water attracts the investment it needs as urbanisation and population growth put pressure on resources.The conversation around how we can bring water and money together begins at the Global Water Summit. It is the flagship water industry event of the year, renowned for its industry-leading agenda and high concentration of water sector executives that attend each year. It is an unmatched networking and strategy development opportunity for our executive-level attendees.The Role With our most recent Global Water Summit in April being our biggest and most successful event to date, this is an exciting time to join our team. We are looking for a talented Events Operations Manager to:Drive the Global Water Summit forward, taking charge of the timeline and team to ensure deadlines and targets are hit.Deliver the event, taking charge of operations and logistics, to ensure we provide our audience with the event that they signed up for.Develop the event year-on-year, evaluating feedback, making changes, and always looking for the next opportunity to grow the event.Build effective and long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.About you Applicants for the Events Operations Manager role will have:Prior experience in conference / event management, within a B2B environment.Big picture planning with the small details in mind.Excellent relationship management and communication skills.Highly organised with experience of cost / budget management.Strong decision-making skills combined with a flexible approach.A desire to learn new products and skills in a fast-paced and changing environment.Flexibility to travel internationally as and when required.On offer Salary up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits including bonus, hybrid working, and exciting development opportunities.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
