Key Purpose: To provide a high level of technical support to site, ensuring reactive requirements are met, planned maintenance activities are supported and providing technical feedback in utilities related activities. • Reports to: Utilities Team Leader• Shift: Days Based 7-3pm (Mon – Fri)• Salary: £38, per annum ResponsibilitiesSite Utility Support• Provide reactive, proactive and preventative engineering support to the site manufacturing operation, delivering optimum plant availability and reliability through the execution of the asset maintenance strategy and improvement programme for all utility related equipment.• Ensure that all service contracts and contractors are working to SLA requirements and are delivering a value added benefit to the overall utility and maintenance function.• Support contractor activity, electrical & mechanical maintenance activities on shift, using permit to work system (out of hours support).• Developing personal and team capability to support the current and future needs of the business.Engineering Best Practice• Lead and support improvements through CI initiatives and preventative actions (to include health & safety and food safety actions).• Support planned & predictive maintenance utility requirements.• Drive and own root cause analysis completion.• Ambassador for engineering standards and best practice across site.• Effective capture of all reactive/planned maintenance activities in CMMS (SAP).• Play effective role in site maintenance audit and subsequent improvement plans. QualificationsPeopleGood influencing, communication and decision making skills.Motivated self starter with good prioritisation & planning skills.Effective team member.Display coaching & mentoring skills for peers, Apprentices, Manufacturing Technicians and Front Line Employees.TechnicalTime served engineer, ONC/HNC qualified in relevant electrical discipline.18th edition regulations and C&G2391 preferred but not essential.Demonstrate strong problem solving skills.Computer literate & software familiarity (word, excel).Demonstrate relevant CMMS (SAP) knowledge.Demonstrate problems solving capabilities.We pride ourselves on our superb work force.
