Robert Half is recruiting for a Finance Manager for our client in East Hertfordshire, on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months. The 0opsition of Finance Manager will be varied and require the following skills and experience;Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions such as month end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting etc.Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processesBuild deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision makingEffectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scopeAdherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report productionParticipate in process improvement workshops and activityProvide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalationsDeliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance managementSupport change programmesEnsure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting ManagerManage individual work-flow ensuring agreed deadlines are metThe position of Finance Manager will be hired on a hybrid remote working basis, this is an urgent requirement.
