Structural CAD / Revit Technician Permanent London (West) £42,000 - £50,000 + Package This structural consultancy based in a relaxed studio in West London are seeking to strengthen their drawing design team with the appointment of an experienced structural technician who will be working on their commercial and residential projects across London. The role will be working closely with the structural engineers producing high quality design through to completion. The projects range from £1m to £25m in construction value and utilise traditional materials. The role is pretty unique, in so much that the company fully utilises both CAD and Revit in equal measure, working almost exactly 50/50 on the projects across both systems. To that end they are seeking a building structures technician who is capable of using both systems independently, and happy to continue using both systems on a daily basis. They are seeking a technician who is adaptable and proactive whilst being happy to liaise with engineers and architects to deliver the projects on time. To be considered apply now for an immediate call back and interview.

A few reminders:
- Never, ever pay anything to apply for a job. Companies should be the one paying, not you
- Never agree to buy equipment in order to start a job - this includes buying a laptop, work from home equipment
- Never agree to pay for mandatory training to onboard for a new position (even if they say that they will reimburse you for later)
- If the recruiter sends you an email from a domain that is different from the company website, ask them to communicate with you via email belonging to the company. Stay away from Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or domain that looks close to the company they are portraying
- Don’t give personal information during the application process - social security number, bank account, home address, date of birth - this could be used to target you through a social engineering attack later on
- Don’t complete a project for free. Many companies might ask you to get through a test, that’s one thing. But less scrupulous companies will actually ask you to deliver a project for free
