European Revenue Accountant

Robert Half is recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to join a International head office based in Solihull. You will be hired as a European Revenue Accountant Hybrid working - 1 / 2 days a week in the office Salary - Up to £55k Plus bonus Free Gym on site Duties will include: Responsible for the revenue recognition process, policies, and ensuring all documentation / approvals are collated and in line with the Group's revenue recognition guidelines. Partnering with the business to ensure all future documents are aligned.Responsible for delivery of accurate, relevant and timely management information and analysis to the US parent companyIdentification of trends and analysis of business performance through the interpretation of key performance indicators (KPI)Support and challenge the integrity of the Gross Margin data through a combination of financial analysis and commercial knowledge.Provide a control over activities within the Gross Margin processes, partnering with the local teams to ensure current modelling and analysis reflects an accurate picture which is recognised by all stakeholders across the business.Produce quarterly WIP / AR reviews for distribution to the business, partnering with the field to ensure timely entry of provisions.Key contributor to the design and testing of new systems.Continuous evaluation of current processes. Working with others across various functions and locations to proactively design, develop and implement "model" processes to improve business performance.Build and Maintain working relationships with local finance teams / field in order to understand the causes of variances and question the integrity of the data.Ensure all work undertaken is in compliance with the relevant Sarbanes-Oxley process maps.Provide back up for other team activities where required.Ad-hoc tasks at the request of management.Profile: Passed Finalist/Newly Qualified AccountantFirm understanding of accounting concepts and be able to understand individual requirements for financial information and handle confidential information.Proficient Excel and Word skillsTeam player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels across the business.Good verbal & written communication skillsAble to thrive in a fast-moving environment with good attention to detail and be flexible in adapting to the many changes that occur in the business.Able to effectively manage their time, working with minimal supervision and dealing with conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.A motivated self-starter who has the confidence to take on responsibility in order to develop the role furtherProactive with Can Do AttitudeConstantly seeking to improve themselves and develop their skill baseBenefits: Salary - £55k Bonus Private medical Hybrid working EAP Retail discounts Cycle to work Gym on site Parking and much much more Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
