We are looking for an Oracle Finance Business Systems Specialist who is also a part qualified accountant. You should have good technical expertise in Oracle modules including General Ledger, Sub-Ledgers, Consolidation (FCCS), Planning (EPBCS), Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Allocations (PCMCS) and Data Management (MDM).This is an exciting time to join the team and be part of shaping the future to ensure Hiscox Group Finance is set up to help deliver the next phase of growth in the business. We take a lot of pride in what we do at Hiscox and our sights are always set on achieving the best.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, maintain, support and enhance Oracle ERP applications.Gathering requirements from users and detailing both process and technical requirements to translate end-user requirements and into finished and working Oracle Applications DesignCreate, maintain and manage documentation for all Oracle Implementation, support initiatives and change requestsSupport the management of Oracle tools in the Finance function; including form updates, UAT, process development and documentation, standard report development, chart of account maintenance, etc.Support the EPBCS based Forecast, Budget, and Long Range Plan Processes from a systems perspectiveSupport the FCCS group consolidation processSupport working day timetable processesEstablish best practices and support user community training on Oracle Report development and SmartviewPerform data cleansing and data auditing as necessary to ensure data qualityMaintain and monitor change / ticket requestsCreate, maintain and monitor analysis of system performance, hierarchy’s and current processes with the focus being on improvement of end user experience.Skills / Qualifications / Experience required:Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud SolutionsFully or part qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with ideally 3 years experience. Those with more, or less years experience, but with the right level of knowledge will naturally be consideredTechnical expertise in Oracle modules including General Ledger, Sub-Ledgers, Consolidation (FCCS), Planning (EPBCS), Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Allocations (PCMCS) and Data Management (MDM)Extensive experience in systems administration and support, preferably within a financial services sectorExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsStrong control mindset and experienceAbout HiscoxAs an international specialist insurer we are far removed from the world of mass market insurance products.
