Cyclical Maintenance & Compliance Manager Permanent - Barnstaple Full Day (2 days option for homeworking ) £34,000 - £37,000 An opportunity has arisen to join a first-class Social Housing provider on a permanent basis to lead and manage a high-quality cyclical maintenance service. Responsibilities would include: Managing contractors to ensure performance levels are met Developing and overseeing quality assurance processes and regular audits Monitor and drive staff to meet targets and performance , train and develop staff To provide an asbestos compliance service to the organisation, ensuring that we are adhering to legislation and HSE guidelines Ensure that all areas of servicing processes are documented Plan budgets and monitor expenditure liaising with the asset management team as to potential spends Coordinate all requests to our asbestos contractors for surveys / removals Monitor and evaluate the risk assessment and programme of works To ensure that there are no gaps in Asset Management servicing or stock condition data to ensure continuous compliance. Setting up and recording regular contract meetings as required. The ideal person for this position would possess: Experience of working in affordable housing or similar sector ideally Knowledge of budget setting and financial and budgetary control Experience of specifying cyclical maintenance contracts but not essential Ability to work to strict deadlines Will be passionate about data and will understand the importance of data integrity in delivering a high-quality compliance service. Can prioritise workload and meet performance targets Desirable: Membership of a Professional Institute is desirable. City of Guilds in Legionella Awareness is desirable.
