Pertemps are working with various clients in and around Aylesbury who are seeking multiple Warehouse Operatives. This role involves various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Checking: Receive incoming deliveries, inspecting them for damages, and verifying their accuracy against purchase orders or delivery notes. Safely and efficiently store received materials in designated locations within the warehouse. Retrieve items from the warehouse shelves or storage areas based on customer orders. Prepare orders for dispatch by appropriately packaging and labelling the items. Maintain accurate records of received goods, dispatched orders, and inventory levels using electronic systems or manual logs. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is beneficial but not always required. Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management tasks. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and maintaining records.
