Part Time Night Security Officer

Pertemps are proud to be working with a local housing charity organisation who are currently hiring for a Part Time Night Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of the building and occupants.    This is a permanent role working 4 nights on, followed by 4 nights off  Salary of £19,153 per annum (£12.28 per hour) , Full time equivalent £25,500  Location: Bath  Working hours are 7pm to 3am and includes some weekends and bank holidays  Please note that the shifts and hours are waking nightshifts that require individuals to be aware and alert throughout the duration Fantastic Company Benefits including: 27 days annual leave (pro rata), including an extra day off for your birthday, increasing up to 30 days after 4 years of continuous employment Sliding salary scale with salary increases every year for the first 3 years A generous and competitive pension scheme Instant access to healthcare professionals and discounts on a variety of health treatments through our Simply Health Scheme Full training and ongoing career development Employee discounts  The Night Security role:  To maintain the safety and security of the building and its facilities  Actively ensure the security of the building, monitoring CCTV and patrolling at regular intervals  Where applicable, to provide a first point of contact for the 'on call' system, to ensure that clear and concise information is detailed to the 'on call support worker'  To supervise the entry and exiting of the building, for the purpose of security and safety of tenants  To maintain an accurate log of events during the shift, for the purpose of clear and concise communication to service colleague Key Attributes and Experience Required for the Night Security Officer :  An understanding of working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs  Ability to work alone without direct supervision  Ability to work flexibly on a rota, including weekends and public holidays  Caring and respectful approach to vulnerable people  Applicants from either security or support backgrounds will be considered.
