Robert Half are working in exclusively with a values-led, renowned company in Swindon to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant role to join their finance function on a full-time permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone that is keen to take ownership of the accounts payable processes for the business and be a part of a company that is renowned for offering an excellent work environment. The salary is £24,000 - £27,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits. The RoleThe main duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant role will consist of:Processing supplier invoices; inputting data, matching purchase orders.Reconciling supplier statements. Creating and maintaining supplier accounts. Liaising with suppliers; building/maintaining strong relationships and deals with queries.Preparing payment runs. Supporting the wider finance team with adhoc duties when required. Ensuring invoices are prepared accurately for month-end. RequirementsTo be considered for the Accounts Payable Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience: Must have accounts payable/purchase ledger experience. AAT qualified or qualified by experience.Strong communication skills. Inquisitive mindset. Strong relationship building skills. Problem solver. Good attention to detail.
