Assistant accountantWe are delighted to be partnering with this family-run property investment company located in Altrincham in the recruitment of an assistant accountant.Established over 35 years ago the business is a family owned SME consisting mainly of property and construction management. On a growth trajectory, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant accountant to support the business through its next phase of growth.This role will be a huge appeal for someone wanting exposure to the whole finance function. In addition, you will be given the opportunity of updating and implementing the business's finance procedures and making process improvements.Taking the accounts to trial balance stage you will support with:Pulling together management and financial accountsInvoice processingProcessing expense requestsCredit controlCash book maintenanceMaintaining the company purchase and sales ledgersBank reconciliationsRaising sales invoicesLiaising with third party providers, clients and suppliersFinance administrationUpdating and maintaining procedural documentationYOU:Previous experience gained within financeA good understanding of management accounts responsibilitiesEffective communicator and ability to engage at all levelsExcellent attention to detail and high level of accuracyStrong excel skills, personable & professionalBenefitsSalary up to £35k DOEOnsite parkingstudy supportRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
