Location: Flexible but ideally Swindon or FarehamSalary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 Closing Date: 8th July2024 The opportunity: This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Governance Team, providing support a wide variety of tasks and processes across the function. You will be supporting the team to deliver an effective governance framework across the Operations Function. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the delivery of an effective Governance and Risk Management Framework for the Zurich UK Operations function including issue management; implementation of compliance policy; risk policy adherence monitoring and risk and control management. Supporting documentation and co-ordination of inputs to risk and control activity across the UK Operations function. Supporting the Operations function with key governance administration across relevant systems. Ensuring risk, controls and governance actions and activities are completed in a timely fashion in conjunction with the business. Supporting the delivery of risk management activity including quarterly controls and annual key risk indicator activity. Support minute taking and recording of actions and decisions in key Operations Governance meetings. Reviewing and recommending improvements to Governance Frameworks across the UK Operations function Supporting a strong Governance culture by building and leveraging positive stakeholder relationships within the business and with 2nd line, including Risk, Compliance and Audit Breach and event logging and monitoring through to resolution, using root cause analysis skills to determine corrective and preventative actions. Your skills and experience: Knowledge of the Zurich UK Business and the UK Operations function. Understanding of Risk Management, Compliance or Governance desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to provide high quality work in a time pressured environment, while ensuring deadlines are met. Effective at working independently as well as in collaboration with others. Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a desire to continue to improve processes and help drive the business forward.
