What you’ll do:To manage the Ward catering team, ensuring all shifts are covered sufficiently at all times, discussing any changes that may be required with the Client Services Manager.Ensure that the quality of the catering service is maintained at the required level as set out in the SLA’sTo assist in the preparation and serving of all patient, visitor and staff meals at the required times to the company’s standard and the clients satisfaction.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are monitored, measured and managed.Aid Client Service Manager with the recruiting of staff.Ensure full Focus assist line manager to carry out appraisals, train, develop, reward and recognise achievements.To adhere to all legislation, client and company policy in the provision of the catering service.Ensure compliance with company purchasing policy.To assist with orders, receiving, checking and storing deliveries as required.To maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the food preparation and service areas at all times paying attention to the Health and Safety regulationsTo assist in stocktaking and to ensure the security of stores during all working hours.To ensure the security of all the establishment’s provisions, equipment and utensils at all timesTo assist with weekly account in accordance with company policy.Organise weekly/monthly meetings with Sodexo staff.Complete all audit and quality standards documentation as required.To provide general assistance throughout the catering department as required.What you bring: Good Communication skillsGreat customer service skillsGood track record for leading and developing a teamAbility to work well within a teamGood literacy and numeracy skillsAbility to understand and adhere to legislation at all timesAbility to understand detailed instructions.Food hygiene level 2 or above would be great, but don’t worry if you don’t have this we are still keen to hear from youWhat we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
