Financial Controller Plymouth Permanent £28k - £30k A leading local Construction business are seeking a Financial Controller to join their team based in their Plymouth office. This role is to oversee and coordinate the accounting function of the business and supporting the Finance Manager. Responsibilities: Support the Finance Director Oversee and coordinate all aspects of accounts administration including maintaining accounts administrative systems Create reports, monthly VAT returns, overseeing purchase & sales ledger CIS monthly returns Processing monthly end payments to sub-contractors/clients Monthly end VAT reporting Accounts processes, sales ledger, purchase ledger Experience & Qualifications required: AAT level 2 minimum Experience of accounting software and working within a similar role Ability to handle a wide variety of situations and problems Knowledge of accounts processes, sales ledger, purchase ledger and administrative principles of an accounts department. Problem solver and can work alone or within a team This is a permanent role with free parking and close to good transport links in Plymouth.
