YOUR ROLE As a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in AWS CDK and Cloud, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of AWS services and CDK to automate and streamline our operations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of our platforms. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud architecture, and a passion for continuous improvement. Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using AWS CDK. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure updates. Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and security of our cloud environments. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. Develop and enforce best practices for cloud infrastructure, security, and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner. Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve our cloud architecture. YOUR PROFILE Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles. Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and AWS CDK. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS). Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages. In-depth knowledge of networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice to have: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications. z Experience with serverless architectures and microservices. Familiarity with other cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud) and multi-cloud environments. Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
