Accommodation Booking Service Operator

Job Introduction As an Accommodation Booking Service Operator at St Omer Barracks, it will be your job to operate a room booking service within a team using bespoke software on behalf of our client to maximize room occupancy across the Allenby Connaught Contract real estate. You will also be required to attend meetings relevant to the role with the accommodation manager. You'll interact with our Armed forces personnel every day, improving quality of life for all that you meet What you’ll do: To operate a room booking service using bespoke software on behalf of our client to maximize room occupancy across the Allenby Connaught Contract estateTo utilize Microsoft office software packages including Outlook, Excel and WordTake bookings via email or telephone and liaise with customers throughout the booking processAttend to queries form customers relating to bookings and resolve any issues       Attend meetings relevant to the role with the accommodation managerUndertake training as requiredWhat you bring:  Good customer service and communications skillsExperience of using Microsoft software packages including Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to analyse and resolve problemsWorking closely within a small teamExperience of working within a military environment and knowledge of the military rank system would be desirableWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
