Job Introduction Hospitality ManagerLocation: Paddington, LondonSalary: £34,500 & range of excellent employee benefitsOnsite – Monday-FridaySodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our established team working with our prestigious clients based in London.Joining our team at their large pharmaceutical & biotechnology site in Paddington, you will provide a professional hospitality catering service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met within the agreed objectives for the location, set objectives and be responsible for the day to day running of the hospitality department, including supervising the recruitment and selection process to ensure that it effectively meets the need of the location & client and assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.The Hospitality Manager will ensure that the location’s hospitality department achieves the financial targets agreed with the client in line with budget and ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.You will ensure all food is presented and served in line with company standards, using innovation in the method and style of presentation and food service ensure that all employees are knowledgeable and motivated about their roles and the business through effective induction, accurate job descriptions and on the job training by empowering, supporting & encouraging them and maintaining an ‘open door’ policy.Taking responsibility for contributing towards your own development with the guidance of the General Manager/Deputy General Manager & attending training courses as identified, show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role, act as a positive ambassador for the business and attend all location management meetings as required.About You Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: Successful Hospitality Management background of large location or Group Management position in catering hospitality Ability to display a real passion for food and customer serviceDemonstrate analytical approach to problem solvingExcellent understanding of report writing and financial managementKeen to continue self-development within current role and ambition for further promotion or growthExcellent leadership and influencing skillsExcellent communicator at all levelsExcellent Management experienceExcellent organisational skillsAbility to plan aheadGood negotiating skillsAbility to work on own initiativeFinancially and commercially astuteEffective time management skillsSmart and well-groomed at all timesConfident, lively and outgoing personalityApproachable, friendly and cheerfulRespectful and able to gain respectComputer literateQualifications required:NVQ3/BTEC/City & Guilds/HND/Degree or equivalentIntermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or aboveHACCP / Food Safety / Food AllergensQualification in training and developmentProfessional training in presentation & negotiation skillsProfessional training in leadership skillsProfessional training in financial management & reportingWhat we offerWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
