Department: Oren Environmental Salary (£): £, - £, Site Operator We’re Severn Trent Services, a commercial arm of the Severn Trent Group. We provide water and waste services to companies nationwide, including the MoD and The Coal Authority. We’re currently recruiting for an Site Operator join our team covering our Blackburn region and surrounding areas on our Coal Authority contract. Do you have processes experience? If so, we might have something perfect for you… EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Covering our Wigan region and surrounding areas you’ll take responsibility for the performance and maintenance of the sites where you are designated as site champion, this includes ensuring water level compliance, consent level compliance and ensuring site standard audit scores increase over the period. Your day-to-day tasks in this role will include gas and water sampling at multiple sites in your area, operational activates to maintain assets, providing first line diagnosis of electrical and mechanical assets as well as supporting the Operations manager in delivering additional works over and above base contract. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE Our ideal candidate will have a can do and willing attitude. You will ideally have an understanding of mine water treatment processes but this is not essential, IT systems and Health and Safety. Knowledge of sample analysis would be desirable.
