Are you an experienced Sous Chef looking for a brand-new exciting opportunity? My client is a luxury beautiful independent hotel, set within gorgeous grounds, that offers elegance to all its clientele. They are looking for a hard-working talented Sous Chef to join their back of house team, providing amazing level of dishes to their clientele in their rosette level kitchen. Due to the location of the hotel, the successful candidate will need to have access to their own transportation. Kitchen Staff are offered off-site staff accommodation at £60 an hour and includes bills. (Food and internet not provided) The main duties and responsibilities of the Sous Chef will be: Deputising the Head Chef when needed, assisting with leading and guiding the kitchen team in every service, maintaining a high consistent level throughout. Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality Training and developing the team, guiding them and helping them grow both professionally and personally. Bringing new ideas and inspiration to the restaurant, banqueting & wedding menus Provide a consistently high level of service and product delivery. Controlling and managing stock The ideal Sous Chef will: Be approachable, organised and consistent. Ideally will have cooked to rosette standard. Be inspirational and creative. Be reliable and hard working. Working for our client as Sous Chef comes with many benefits: Gratuities to all staff paid every 2 months, worth approx. £500 per year.
