Attention Senior Wastewater Modeller! An exciting opportunity awaits you. Thames Water is currently seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller who will be responsible for developing, managing, and updating wastewater network models to fulfil business requirements. As a Senior Wastewater Modeller, you will provide specialist advice and solutions in a significant modelling activity area to meet current and future demands. You will work closely with System Planners and other teams across the business to ensure that all modelling activities are executed efficiently. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Wastewater Modeller Building and developing models on modelling software. Analysing and working on data sources to ensure we evaluate network performance and the impact of change at pipe and system levels. Be able to be reactive to find solutions to issues that arise. Plan and supervise asset and flow surveys and field investigations. Provide technical support to the broader business as required. Be able to build and deliver reports on data and modelling you have been responsible for. Hybrid-Reading Sewage Treatment Works, will be required to attend the office once a week. This role will be accepting full and part-time applications and does not require a driver's licence. What you should bring to the role Hold a STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) related degree. Know how to use modelling software to complete modelling tasks, preferably ICM software. (building and maintaining models, performance analysis, pioneering) What’s in it for you? Competitive salary paying between £40,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience. Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service.
