This role is full time on a 6 month secondment.This role directly supports our E2E programme objective and underpins our first strategic priority; transforming garage services profitability by informing the new garage operating model. By handling complex garage processes centrally, we improve stockfile accuracy, reduce our Orders & Returns mismatch to improve overall profitability. As a Parts Advisor within the Central Support team, responsibilities include:Responsibilities: Management of incoming contact from garages in line with the Central Support Team scope to provide support and identify trends and issuesAdministration and approval of ad-hoc orders and requirements raised by garages including the validation of all ad-hoc tier 3 oil orders ensuring cost price accuracy and alignment to purchasing strategyReduce and manage orders in transit over one week old in alignment with approved processUnderstand and accurately process all PACE write-on requests in alignment with approved processUse of exceptions reporting to manage cancellations and reduce returnsWork collaboratively with the Fleet team to manage exceptions and improve invoice match rateWork collaboratively with the Central Support Team SMEs to identify and track root cause themes and provide solutions as appropriateShare best practice and ensure process compliance with all approved processes Experience:Delivery of this role requires a positive attitude with a can-do spirit displaying our Halfords values. A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and act on their own initiative. This person must be customer focused and proficient at identifying customer needs and implementing solutions. Being able to interact and communicate effectively across all areas of the business, this person will be confident in collaborating with Central Support Team SMEs, garage colleagues, and field teams. Must be comfortable using Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and excel.
