Graduate/Assistant Estimator – Exeter Rare Opportunity Alert! Looking to elevate your career in the construction industry? Wanting to join a reputable general construction firm in Exeter as a Trainee or Assistant Estimator, read on! You will be working closely with an experienced estimator assisting with pre-construction and commercial duties. Types of projects include new build and refurbishments within Education, Commercial, Retail, Leisure and Healthcare up to a couple million. Responsibilities: Supporting with client, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other third parties Support potential tenders with commercial team Administrate correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain Sending out tender enquiries to the supply chain, Negotiating and adjudicating quotes Obtain pricing in a timely manner to meet with submission deadlines Support with various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs are kept in line with the forecast Requirements: Estimating in construction desirable Construction experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English Highly numerate, uses initiative and solves problems independently Driving licence is required, DBS may be conducted Computer literacy skills and the ability to adapt to using company customer relationship management systems If you would like to discuss, please do call RGB Recruitment Exeter and ask for Nicky Harris.
