EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our Self-Lay team within Developer Services as a Self-Lay Coordinator based in our Coventry headquarter office ona month contract. You’ll be the first point of contact for all Water Self Lay Providers, providing advice and guidance with the aim of resolving any queries as quickly and hassle free for the customer as possible. You’ll also be responsible for responding to all correspondence from Self Lay Providers, with a focus on request to connect and notification of connection to bring new properties into charge. You’ll engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage our relationship with our Self Lay Providers as well as being running the Self Lay mailbox, raising meter commissions, clearing the target exception queue and ensuring both Household and Non Household accounts are set up within targeted timeframes. In this role, you’ll be based in our office in Coventry City Centre and your working hours will be Monday-Friday am – pm. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE You’ll have an eye for detail to ensure accurate information is provided to and taken from customers and be able to identify any problems or errors and correct accordingly. You’ll also be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced team and driven to achieve individual and team targets and be able to act decisively and positively. As the first point of contact for Water Self Lay Providers, you’ll be a great communicator whether that’s via email or picking up the phone to speak to contractors to provide advice and guidance to resolve queries. You’ll be comfortable learning IT software and systems like Microsoft Excel, SAP, CRM, Click and Target so that you can update them with accurate information. If you’ve already used these systems, that would be a great start! If you’re already aware of the New Connections Process or Self Lay code of practise and adoption codes, you would hit the ground running but don’t worry, we can teach you these in the role.
