Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Livingston Salary: £34k - £38k DOE (Includes Shift Allowance) Working Hours: 37hrs per week - You must be able to work Early Shift, Late Shift and Night Shifts Education Time served Machinist with Papers Duties and Resposibilities Manage of controls systems such as Fanuc Knowledge and application of safe working practices. Knowledge and experience in quality systems and procedures including SPC. Knowledge of reading and interpreting computer blueprints, sketches and process sheets is desirable, as well as using a variety of precision measuring instruments Knowledge of machine tool setting procedures and tape experience. Experience of working in a Machine Shop environment. Must have a high degree of numerical ability. Teamplayer and ability to work independantly on their own. Good problem solving skills. Great communication skills both verbally and written. Flexible and ability to support training others if required. Experience and Knowledge Ideally, 2-3 years’ experience in setting and operating machine shop equipment manual and CNC. Practical experience in the use of some of the following preferable: Vertical turret lathes as a minimum
