Job Title: Administrator Location: Glasgow G2 area - office-based Hours: 09:00-17:00 Pay Rate: £12 per hour Contract Type: Temporary (starting ASAP until 31/12) Join our client's team as a Process Assistant - Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals' rights of access to their personal data by handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information Requests (FOIs). You will be part of an existing team of administrators who ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Key Responsibilities Receive and process SARs & FOIs in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines. Coordinate with relevant departments to gather requested data and supporting documentation. Conduct thorough responses to SARs & FOIs, ensuring necessary redactions/explanations are included. Collaborate with internal and external legal advisors to address complex legal and health inquiries. Respond to routine queries and issues, referring any unusual or non-routine situations to others. Essential Skills Experience in data protection or administrative roles. Understanding of data protection regulations, such as GDPR. Good organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adjust processes and procedures in response to changes in data protection regulations. Ability to use multiple systems simultaneously to access data securely. Able to work effectively in a team or structured environment. Articulate and able to maintain good relationships with colleagues and clients. Delivers high-quality customer service in a professional manner, creating trust and confidence. Excellent communication skills. Ability to follow processes accurately.
