HGV Class 1

Job description Ongoing work, full or part time, along with 8 hours minimum guaranteed per shift. Monday to Friday day shifts - £18.19ph. Saturday - £20.23ph Sunday - £21.25ph Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for regular, reliable work? Pertemps have multiple openings for Class 1 C+E drivers with our client, GXO, in Newark. You will be required to transport electrical goods to Curry’s stores (am shifts only) or warehouses/RDCs (pm shifts). While delivering at a store you will not have to tip the load yourself but may be required to move the stock with a pump truck to allow for it to be unloaded. Before you start, you'll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment / induction, this is paid on completion and will take 8 hrs and includes: Multiple choice questionnaire surrounding WTD and general knowledge.
