Job Introduction Assistant Finance ManagerLocation: ManchesterSalary: £34,100 - £38,800 & range of excellent employee benefitsOnsite – Monday-FridaySodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our established team working at our corporate office in Salford.As party of the team, you will assist in the financial responsibilities of the Sodexo IFM contract with the Client and play an integral role during the Sodexo / Client month end process, ensuring relevant sources of information and system are utilised and assist in the resolution of overdue debt issues with Credit Management Teams, Site Teams and client teams, where required.The Assistant Finance Manager will develop strong working relationships with the Key Stakeholders on the contract such as the Central Finance team, Accounts payable, Operating Accounting team and the Client Account Manager as well as the Sodexo On-Site Management and administration teams whilst working with on-site teams to ensure compliance around current systems and their effective use.You will produce the monthly financial reports for the Sodexo IFM contract for the client, supporting in the analysis of site performance using tools available to provide meaningful commentary and undertake work and operate in line with the business code of ethics and adhere to all company policies and procedures.About YouExperience and knowledge requirement for this role: • Knowledge of financial systems including accounting systems and budgetary control: SAP• Previous experience of working within the facilities management sector preferred• Previous experience in writing detailed reports and collating detailed accurate information accordingly• Must have the ability to prioritise tasks and work using own initiative • Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive, working quickly and accurately under pressure whilst achieving deadlines• Highly self-motivated, ability to take ownership for several projects from beginning to end• A structured but flexible manner of working with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload• Excellent Excel knowledge and proficient in Word & PowerPoint• Organised and able to manage various projects simultaneously• Excellent organisational and communication skills • Able to always maintain complete confidentiality• Ability to work individually and as part of a large team• Proven and successful Finance Department experience• Ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential • Excellent business partnering skills• Creative and ‘can do’ attitudeQualifications required:• Part of full Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) What we offerWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
