CNC TRAINER/ENGINEER/OPERATIVE Pertemps Milton Keynes branch are currently recruiting for a CNC Superstar with a wealth of varied experience and knowledge for our client based in Milton Keynes. Our client is an automotive company that have recently relocated to the area, and are currently looking to introduce CNC Machinery to the business for the first time, and therefore now have a vacancy for a CNC Operative who can assist them in this process. The Role The CNC Machine Trainer/Engineer/Operator will be responsible for the purchase, setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines within the business. This role also involves training team members on the proper use of these machines, ensuring efficient and safe operation. Identify and evaluate potential CNC machines based on company needs and budget. Oversee the installation of CNC machines. Ensure machines are properly calibrated and ready for production. Conduct initial testing and troubleshooting. Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications. Interpret technical drawings and ensure the accuracy of produced parts. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines. Diagnose and repair any mechanical or technical issues. Maintain detailed records of machine maintenance and repairs. Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing staff on CNC machine operation. Create instructional materials, such as manuals and video tutorials. Ensure all operators adhere to safety protocols and company standards. Continuously seek ways to improve CNC machine efficiency and productivity. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimise manufacturing processes. Shifts: Monday to Friday Times: 0800 – 1700 (Flexibility to start earlier or later) Pay: £18.00 Location: Milton Keynes Requirements: Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator. Experience with specific CNC software and equipment used by [Your Company Name]. Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation. Experience in training and mentoring team members. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
