Job Introduction As a 2nd / Sous Chef at Sodexo at Bhurtpore Officers Mess, Tidworth Camp Your culinary expertise and organizational excellence will lead an entire food and beverage production. You'll be providing this service for our armed forces personnel, improving their quality of life every day! What you’ll do:   Lead the kitchen in the absence of your senior colleagues & provide support for the production team Direct the preparation/duties to the commis chefs, chef de parties and other kitchen staff.Assisting/sharing in ordering, prep, stock control, to running service & clean down.Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systemsimprovisation and maximise the use of existing stocks where necessary.Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellenceWork on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide & develop Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations  Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard What you bring:  NVQ lv 2/3 or experience working in a busy kitchen environment Basic IT skills, with Microsoft packages experienceExperience in menu planning and production  Exposure to bulk cooking  The enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills.A positive and approachable mannerIf you have experience in the above, but don't hold experience as a 'sous chef' we would still love to hear from youWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
