Catering Assistant

Job Introduction As Catering Assistant for Independents by Sodexo at  Clifton College, Bristol, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What you do:Comply with statutory and company requirements.Assist with all aspects of the preparation of food service areas and presentation of food to the notified standardTo prepare all food with due care and attention, particularly in regard to customers special dietary requirements: for example; nut, dairy or wheat allergies.Serve food and drink to customers and guests as directed.Assist with the replenishment of food, beverages and equipment to ensure service periods do not stop.Assist with the implementation of cleaning schedule to agreed standards.Promote a friendly working relationship with colleagues.Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practices.To assist with the set-up, service, clearing and cleaning of function catering as requested.To undertake occasional duties outside the normal routine but within the scope of the position and the departments activities. ​What you bring:Have a great sense of teamwork.Show that you can adopt a dedicated and orderly approach.Show that you can prioritise your work, handle pressure, and communicate well at all levels.Show impeccable punctuality and dependability.Experience in a similar environment (helpful but not a deal breaker).What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
