Your Role as an Quality Assurance & Internal VerifierAre you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals within the criminal justice system? Do you have experience as a vocational assessor? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Quality Assurance & Internal Verifier at HMP Forest Bank.As the Internal Verifier you will have responsibility of a small team of 3-4 staff to manage the quality assurance of our courses based within the industries department. This encompasses, recycling, warehousing and storage, H&S and cleaning. You will manage our ‘mandatory wing worker training programme’ which covers 3 non-accredited courses (servery, H&S, Cleaning principles) – this will include assistance with workbook completion, marking, maintaining trackers both on spreadsheets and the online portal.As a working prison, we work towards the resettlement of residents upon their release into the community and their integration into society through the skills acquired while in our care. The Ideal CandidateSkills/Competencies:TAQA level 4 or equivalent (would welcome applications from candidates who have a level 3 and are prepared to work towards their level 4).Occupational competency in more than one area.A willingness to work towards PTTLS.
