Thames Water have a great opportunity for an individual to cover maternity leave for a minimum off 6 months with the view to extend up to 12 months in the Thames Valley North Wastewater Area in the role of a Business Support Administrator. Depending on your location you can be based at either our Banbury or Witney Sewage Treatment Works. We are looking for someone with Previous working experience in secretarial and administrative support. The role requires an individual who is flexible, positive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-changing working environment. To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate coordination of facilities within the organisation, supporting staff locally and remotely, build excellent working relationships at all levels, have attention to detail, be resilient under pressure working to tight timescales and capable of working under your own initiative for long periods of time. What you’ll be doing as the Business Support Administrator Maintain, monitor, and verify data, records and information obtained from a variety of sources (including quality systems) in support of business and company requirements. Ensure the staff resource management system is accurate and up to date. Respond to enquiries from within and outside of the company, arranging meetings and general customer liaison. Management of corporate procurement system for the area including the raising and tracking of orders. Report on financial spend. Provision of administrative and general office support to the operational team. Maintain and update relevant corporate IT systems. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and function as a team player. Knowledge of SAP, MS office, and procurement systems preferred, however software training can be provided to upskill suitable candidate. What’s in it for you?
