Our Deputy Managers are vital members of our management team. You will be empowered to be the best, in an exciting, forward-thinking company where we pride ourselves on our core values. You will be accountable for the running of the retail store in the Store Managers absence.Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We are a ‘hands-on’ business, so whether it’s fitting our products to a customer’s vehicle or setting up a new bike – we will give all the training required to help our customers keep on the move.Our colleagues make the difference and as a deputy manager you will lead the team to deliver great results and drive company values through being inclusive, dynamic, and motivational.Encouraging the team with praise and celebrating success is crucial in this role, which creates an environment where both colleagues and customers feel valued. A keen operator, you’ll also have a strong sense of what our competitors are doing and will have a passion to win through consistent excellence in delivery. To be successful you will be: A year’s managerial experience ideally in a retail sales environment.Experience of managing colleagues and one to one coaching.Experience of meeting compliance standards across health and safety and retail operational standards.Experience of labour force scheduling, and associated time management skills.Experience of delivering coaching/training in the moment to ensure that customers have a great experience.A track record of success in delivering against sales targets, including attachment sales.Evidence of delivering against customer metrics.Evidence of commercial acumen and an appreciation of current operating environment.Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.IT proficient, with experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the aptitude to learn in-house systems.
